Working together for better youth ministry.

The Catholic Youth Council (CYC) will represent youth and young adults, group leaders, parishes, agencies, organisations, movements, chaplaincy, secondary schools, cultural groups, clergy, and other religious groups in the Archdiocese of Perth. The CYC aims to break down silos, encourage networking, and provide support for those in youth ministry.

The CYC will work to collectively with Catholic Youth Ministry Perth, the official agency for youth ministry in the Archdiocese of Perth, to address significant issues, to bridge the gap and foster a sense of community among leaders and those in grassroots ministry. The CYC serves as a unifying space, emphasising the importance of listening and collaboration. It will also function as a platform for inclusive decision-making to address the challenges faced in youth ministry.
